On April 1, 2022, the Nanhai Loong Lions Exhibition Hall & Basketball Club (exhibition hall for short), which is located at Sector C, Block 11 of the Riviera Estate, is officially completed and opened. Multiple leaders from Foshan Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Tourism and Sports arrive at the exhibition hall to give us further instructions on the future moves for the project.
The exhibition hall, covering over 2200㎡ for its first phase, lies in the Riviera Estate, a huge residential property owned by Nenking Group. It consists of an exhibition hall, an experience center, the headquarter of Nanhai Loong Lions Basketball Club, as well as a CBA Hoop Park.
With our staff's interpretation, leaders pay a visit to each zone of the hall and offer their suggestions regarding the project’s function and operation.
The Nanhai Loong Lions Basketball Club is founded by Nenking Group in 2020 with a roster formed by the youth squad of Loong Lions basketball team (aka Team Guangzhou), which is particularly for pro 3X3 basketball. Not long after the establishment, Nanhai Loong Lions already won a couple of games in various sports events like the National Games. Currently, it is preparing for the SUPER 3, a nationwide 3X3 basketball competition organized by Chinese Basketball Association. The club now has a standard court for training, and it will also serve as a platform to meet the sporting demand of residents nearby and let more people get to know about this game.
The exhibition hall not only displays the developing course of Dancing Lion, Dragonboat and Loong Lions Basketball Club, but also includes Kungfu, Chinese paper cutting and Cantonese opera. There are training rooms there as well for those who show interest for practice.
By landing these sports-related projects that combine traditional Chinese culture with brand-new pattern and operation, Nenking Group is forging public-benefit carriers that promote Foshan’s traditional culture.
