As a new force in the esports field, Ultra Prime, a major esports brand under Nenking Esports, has already owned two franchises in the top leagues within the past few years: the Guangzhou Charge founded in 2018 for OWL and the UP founded in 2021 for LPL.
In the first season after foundation, Guangzhou Charge already hires many elite players from different countries, who are well-seasoned under the international background. Moreover, Guangzhou Charge enjoys exceptional advantage by having two venues known as Tianhe Sports Stadium and the GBA International Sports & Cultural Center. in the 2020 season, the franchise wins the summer showdown champion and two of our players are nominated for two MVP titles.
For UP LPL, a brand-new franchise, it embolizes “lightning”, “crown”, “coherence”, “excellence” and “upward”. UP will join the LPL family and compete in the phenomenal tournament. This new blood will open its chapter and kick off its journey to glory.
As is known to all, a great headquarter plays a vital role in managing the success of an esports franchise. In March, 2021, the Nenking Esports Center is established right at the GBA International Sports & Cultural Center, covering an area of 3,600 square meters that includes multiple zones for home and guest players, training simulation, sports and recreation, fitness and physiotherapies. It serves as a training center and health management hub for the present and future Nenking esports franchises, providing sites and facilities for esports events. Generally, Nenking Esports plans to make extensions on games & trainings, venue operation and event brand building.
The GBA International Sports & Cultural Center, where sits the headquarter of Nenking Esports Center, is built by Nenking Group in 2018, with an astounding investment of 2 billion yuan. In 2019, the LPL Spring Final was held at this amazing venue. As of today, the landing and extension of offline esports events are largely affected by COVID-19. Yet in the long run, the “Home & Away” pattern is the future for top leagues like LPL, and more events will be held at esports venues—this is where Nenking Esports will be heading to in the future as last year in 2021, the GBA International Sports & Cultural Center is certified by Tencent Esports. The day when the “Home & Away” pattern becomes pervasive, Nenking Esports will embrace unparalleled advantages.
Nenking Esports will devote ourselves to create a new ecology for this industry and fight with our esports fans to build a unique community for this region!
