On June 16, 2021, the 2021 Global Esports Summit is held at the International Convention Center, Haikou, Hainan Province. Themed by “Global Flourish”, the summit gathers multiple departments and institutes, famous athletes and business partners, industrial authorities and regional representatives together to envision a new era and explore more possibilities of future esports.
On November 18, 2003, esports was listed as the 99th sporting event by the General Administration of Sport of China. Later in December last year, it was successfully selected as an official event in the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games, which marks an important milestone in the history of its kind. The globalization of esports is unstoppable. Under the active promotion of a series of policies, the esports industry shows a high-speed growth trend, along with increasing social recognition and player quantity.
In order to further promote the standardization and intelligent construction of esports venues, the summit announces a couple of venues certified by Tencent Esports, in which Foshan International Sports & Cultural Center (aka the GBA Center) is listed. The Foshan International Sports & Cultural Center was built by Nenking Group in 2018 with a total floor area of 155,000 square meters. Previously, this arena held a series of esports events, including 2019 LPL Spring Finals, SC Division, China Championship of F1 Esports, and GBA Teenagers Esports League, 2021 KPL Spring Tournament. These events provide the youngsters with a platform for skills competition and cultural exchange.

This year in March, Nenking Esports Center, along with two of its franchises, Guangzhou Charge and Ultra Prime, was officially unveiled at Foshan International Sports & Cultural Center. As a new force in this field, Nenking Esports have owned two franchises and won a champion title at the summer showdown.
